This was a quick weekend trip and my first time in LA
Did a bit of hiking in Malibu Creek State Park
On the trail we discovered that the creek bed was dry and was very glad that the pool still had plenty of water.
Deep thoughts-I was literally thinking how deep is this thing.
Food for thought or just food
I love to eat. Whenever I go somewhere I go in search of dessert and street food, LA was no different. I must say I did get some yummy treats.
Tacos– in a parking lot at the corner of Sunset and Western in East Hollywood right before you get to Little Armenia is where I got one of the best tacos I have ever had, simple, fresh and just plain yummy. I sat in the car and devoured it like a true boss taco connoisseur.
The Hunt for Dessert
As I mentioned earlier, I love to sample the best dessert in a city when I visit and LA was no different. I did my research and made a list only to discover that I left it at home along with my charger for my camera, and wouldn’t you know it the bloody thing died. So I set out down Sunset Blvd in search of a camera store the girl in Target told me about, On the way which was about a half a block, I ran into an Armenia bakery and was not disappointed.
The Quest For Dessert Continued
I did a quick search of google feeling miffed with myself for forgetting my list and the results returned Milk which was on my list. So on I went.
More yumminess at Urt Cafe
Three days that were well worth it.
